Common questions
Where does your honey come from?
Our California varietals (Wildflower, Orange Blossom, Sage) come from apiaries in the San Gabriel foothills and Riverside County. Wild Thyme comes from a women-owned cooperative in the Beqaa Valley, Lebanon. Black Seed is from southern Egypt, and Sidr is from Hadhramaut, Yemen. We've met every grower.
Is your honey really raw?
Yes — never heated above hive temperature (around 95°F), never micron-filtered, never cut with anything. We pass it once through a coarse mesh to catch wax flakes and that's it.
My honey crystallized. Is it bad?
No — it's a sign it's real. Raw honey naturally granulates over time. To re-liquefy, stand the jar in warm (not hot) water for 15–20 minutes. Never microwave raw honey; it kills the live enzymes.
How long does it keep?
Indefinitely, sealed. Honey is the only food with no expiration. Once opened, keep the lid tight and a clean dry spoon inside.
Can children eat it?
Children over 12 months, yes. Infants under 12 months should not eat any honey (raw or otherwise) due to botulism risk.
Do you ship internationally?
Right now we ship within the continental United States. We're working on international and Canadian shipping for late 2026.
